findhouze.com ("findhouze", "we") is a property portal that connects buyers and tenants with real estate agencies in Turkey. This policy explains which personal data we process and why, in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for visitors from the EU, the GDPR.
Data we collect
- Enquiries: the name, phone number, e-mail, country, budget and message you send through our forms.
- Agency accounts: company and contact details, licence number and login data of agencies.
- Technical data: a hashed (anonymised) IP address with each enquiry to prevent spam, and cookies needed for the site to work (session, language and currency choice). If analytics is enabled, Google Tag Manager / Analytics cookies.
Why we use it
- To send your enquiry to the agency that published the listing (or to a partner agency for general requests), so they can contact you — based on your consent.
- To run and secure the website and prevent abuse — based on our legitimate interest.
- To manage agency accounts — based on our contract with the agency.
Who receives it
The agency responsible for the listing receives your enquiry. Agencies are independent data controllers for how they use it afterwards. We use hosting and e-mail providers that process data on our behalf. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 2 years, then deleted or anonymised, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by e-mailing [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or your local data protection authority.
